A Busy Autumn and Winter Season 2017!

The fall season of 2017 was one of the busiest times for new works that I have experienced in quite some time! I am grateful for the many new clients and well as returning work from previous acquaintances. Here are a few highlights:

  1. Gateway Church Christmas Program 2017 –  I’ve had the good fortune to arrange for this great music department for several years now. Gateway stages immense stage shows with multiple singers and actors, with music pre-recorded by the wonderful musicians in Nashville. This past Christmas I wrote 9 orchestrations for their 2017 Christmas Show.
  2. Northwest Bible Church Christmas Eve Services – Northwest in Dallas utilizes a chamber orchestra to accompany their singers each Christmas Eve, and I wrote or re-vamped 5 orchestrations for this year’s Christmas Eve services.
  3. Klyde Warren Park Tree Lighting Ceremony – This is an annual event in the Arts District of Downtown Dallas produced by the creative folks at Corporate Magic. This year I wrote two arrangements featuring the University of North Texas Two O’Clock Lab Band with a vocal group.
  4. Merry & Bright Concert by Charles Lazarus – Each year my good friend Chuck Lazarus stages a concert of Christmas Music featuring singers and a terrific jazz/pop/R&B band on the stage of Minnesota Orchestra Hall. I’ve written for the event for a few years, and contributed new arrangements again this year. You may wish to check out the great Merry & Bright CD recording!
